The Coordinating Committee On Economic Cooperation With Sub-Saharan Africa is a Russian public organization. AfroCom was established as a mutual initiative of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vnesheconombank on the 18th of June 2009 in order to consolidate efforts of Russian business community, government and non-government institutions to step up economic activities on African markets and to support Russian export to Africa. The scope of AfroCom's activities includes dealing with about 48 African countries.
